What u think of Nick Cannon's new song "Can I Live?" feat. Anthony Hamilton? The video featured his mother going to an abortion clinic and him as his spirit pleading her not to do it as she goes in for the procedure.
By the end she has an epiphany stops everything and runs out of the hospital. It was pretty cool for him. Something odd and out of touch with what's on the mainstream today. It actually made me think. Better than his first single last year "Gigilo" with R, Kelly !!!    God that song wouldnt go away

I don't like the song!!
If that is his personal opinion that is coo'... but who the hell asked him to share it w/ us? I really could care less on his personal views especially since I am for free choice. He is not a very well established artist so for him to come out and make this statement.. it really doesn't fit. Well...
The video caught my attention because it stars Tatyana Ali. I like her. The song itself has simple lyrics and songs with children singing the chorus annoy me...its been done too many times. Anyway...I think the song is corny. Too Will Smith-ish "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

I havent' heard the song or seen the video but I think it's kinda interesting that an R&B (or just about any) artist these days would make a song/video like that. It's nice to see someone with an opinion for once even if it isn't a well written one. | |
