This man sounds like he's been making records for 30 years.. Impressive new song.. The mix I've heard was more upbeat and a little bit more optimistic sounding than previous.. but still having that feelings of mystrious discontent that his "o" music had. Its a duet with Lisa Hannigan, which I believe is the woman who is in and out of most of the "o" music.

Im gonna have to check this out. Ive delayed on purchasing Damien Rice. I first heard about him when I read a review some time ago that compared him to Jeff Buckley. And being a huge Jeff Buckley nut, I admittedly had a pre-conceived notion before listening, which actually left me feeling disappointed. Then for whatever reason, I was drawn back to listening to him again months later, and it was then I started to become enchanted with his music. I looped "The Blower's Daughter" like crazy from his site. I know Im hooked when I start with the looping action.

Cheers for the reminder ... its time Damien Rice became part of my music collection.
