Another Album Moment By Pill The Temptations - 1990
This album hardly gets mention, as one of their great recordings.. Release in 1973, after the success of "All Directions"("Papa Was A Rolling Stone"), & The "Masterpiece" albums.. This album seem to have gotten totally ignored... I remember as a kid, that "Let Your Hair Down","Heavenly" and "You've Got My Soul On Fire" got airplay... "I Need You" was another jam.... The closer "Zoom" had that Funkadelic groove going.... Who else remember this forgotten LP by the Mighty Mighty Tempts??? Track listing Side One: Let Your Hair Down I Need You Heavenly You've Got My Soul On Fire Ain't No Justice Side Two: 1990 Zoom

Man, I wrote about this album AND "Masterpiece" when I wrote a thread about Norman Whitfield, oh, about a year ago. Hell yes, I agree witcha, this album is HELLA underrated! I don't think folks are that hip to it. Norman was biting hard off of Funkadelic, recording their shows and shit. And then giving the grooves to The Temptations and Undisputed Truth. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I love the Temptations' albums into the 90s and beyond. I still regularly play Phoenix Rising. I also have Ear-Resistable and Awesome, which didn't win a Grammy but I love more than Ear-Resistable.

Didn't Eddie Hazel play on 2 Temps LP's in the 70's? I think it was "Zoom" and "A Song For Love".
