Michael Jackson: Someone Put Your Hand Out

I've been recently checking out the material on the MJ boxset, The Ultimate Collection. Most of the previously unreleased stuff on here sounds pretty good, but then I came across a rare one from a single that was released when the Dangerous album was blowing up. It's called Someone Put Your Hand Out and I think it should've been on the Dangerous album. The track has a R&B flavor in it that just goes well with the song. I heard a segement of this song on the Dangerous tour VHS. Has anyone heard it yet?

I thought it was pretty bland at first. But it grows and grows and grows.....

It seems everything he's doing now sounds corny. Take a listen to the whole Invincible album front to back and what do you get: a hit and miss disappointment!!!!

No, i think Quincy and Mike together is just magic.
I'm sure they can continue to make great music together.

I'd quite like a Michael/Quincy reunion. smile

If not, that's cool.. just as long as he DOESN'T pick flavor-of-the-months AGAIN for his next record (if there will be one).

I love Someone Put Your Hand Out. Gorgeous song. One of his best 90's tracks.
cool

also I'm glad that he moved on from Quincy --
otherwise we wouldn't have that dirty, funky
R&B sound he introduced to us with 'Dangerous'.

mj's best producing himself, he stews in his own genius and the outcome is better more times than it's worse

LOOOOOVE that song! It just flies.....
I also love the lyrics - sooooo touching.....
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really donĀ“t like the idea that he could have it all."
