I don't know much about The Rolling Stone's music to coment amigo but I'll look out for that song from now on.

I hear that they've got about 20 mins for a set and that they are going to close the show.

I think that you, UNIQUE my amigo, are very very lucky to see what will be one of the greatest moments of of our time... See Pink Floyd play! ( or is that Emily?)

I've been thinking about their set, what about this?
Brain Damage/Eclipse
Another Brick in the Wall
Wish You Were Here
Comfortably Numb

I reckon that would take about 20mins and I would just love to be a 'fly on the wall' listening to them talk about what set they'll do...WOW!!!

Just noticed that on the ticket it says that it's only on from 2pm until 8pm!!! how do they get everyone to perform!!

i've never managed 2 c either floyd or roger waters b4, and altho i love daves guitar and his 1st solo album, i was always more of a rog fan, so being a long time fan who has everything including all the solo stuff, even the weird crap that i haven't listened 2, i always regretted missing out on seeing floyd at all, even tho they just werent the same the last couple of "hits" tours. i really never ever thought i would c the day when they would get back 2gether with roger, particularly as they hadn't spoken 2 each other in about 15 years, and b4 that they only spoke 2 each other in court since about 1983. from interviews with dave over the past few years it even seemed like he was no longer even interested in doing any more floyd albums or tours, so something like this is just amazing. not only that, but it really is a cracking line up, u2, rem, paul macartney, elton john, robbie williams, madonna. i really hope george michael turns up. it's a shame bowie said no, i missed him last year at t in the park, but i was very lucky 2 b at the fan only hammersmith appollo show 30 years after he killed off ziggy stardust

this will also b my 3rd rem show in the same number of weeks, and 2nd u2 show in 2 weeks, after seeing them last nite, front row at hampdem (also front row at rem glasgow and loch lomond), and as bono is coming 2 edinburgh on 6th july i might even get 2 c u2 yet again (u know they like 2 do surprise appearances, same with rem!), i'm also seeing elton john this saturday, so it's a crazy month 4 gigs

i've been reading discussions about the floyd set, and the fans seem 2 think they will keep it simple with the most well known hits, thus my choice above would fit in well with that. and bob "i played pink floyd in the movie" geldof has been talking about other bands not appearing as he is concerned that the japanese market will switch off if they don't know the act, so i presume he will want the performances 2 b big hits rather than obscurities. i still don't think another brick in the wall will b played, but u never know, roger did rerecord it 2 promote his gig at the berlin wall, and it might b an appropriate political song, along with money. still, DSOTM live in its entirety with the real floyd would b fucking amazing, and u couldn't grumble missing shine on and comfortably numb. i'm not sure if they will do shine on as its so long and time is limited. altho tix say 2pm- 8pm, i think it will end around 10pm, hopefully later. i have heard that most acts r only doing a song or 2, so i imagine the biggest well known hits. so whilst 20 ppl r on the bill, 2pm-10pm gives 12 hours, which gives more than a half hour per act, u have 2 allow setting up time etc, but if some artists only do a couple of numbers it still allows a reasonable time. think of floyd at knebworth, they did about 20-30 mins and did shine on and run like hell. i just hope they dont split up b4 the show by arguing over the setlist, as they argued like hell over the tracklisting 4 the echoes compilation. mind, maybe they will play atom heart mother in its entirety lol

I watched Floyd's set while I was on holiday and downloaded it when i got back. I loved every minite and my heart was pumpimg all the way thru. What really brought a lump to my throat was the reactions and the looks on the faces from the Floyd fans in the crowd.

Set list was perfect. Atom Heart Mother would've been great though, I'm going to try and get that DVD that documents the making of. Saw the Syd Barret and DSOTM DVDs recently and they were fantastic.

I did get the chance to see Rodger Waters twice on the In The Fleash tour. Once in Manchester and again at Glastonbury. I got really close to the front at Glasto but why oh why was rod stuart considered to be the headliner over him. rod bloody stuart is absolutly fuckin shite imho!

I've noticed now that Comfortably Numb is now being played on the radio and did you see how many Floyd albums went back in the charts? ... that's nothing but recognition of total quality.
