As I've said before, Gwen's solo work is awful. It's pure fluff trash. The videos look good and so does she, but the music is terrible. I like her with No Doubt, but I highly doubt I will ever by any of her solo work if it continues to be bubble gum shit like L.A.M.B.
I think she should be ashamed of the garbage she's released. At least with No Doubt, the music had some substance and the lyrics were somewhat interesting. Her lastest song "holler back girl" makes me cringe. It's for 12 year olds. | |

I've always been a huge No-Doubt fan, so Gwen is one of my favorite frontwomen.
However, I didn't buy her solo cd coz I just wasn't hugely impressed by it. It might just be that I have a hard time envisioning Gwen without No Doubt rather than not appreciating her solo work. As far as her looks are concerned, I thought Gwen looked better heavier. She definitely looked healthier. | |
