"Michael should work with LI'L JON and 50 Cent to get back on top!"
If he's gonna stoop that low, he might as well take Steve Wynn up on his rumored offer of a golden coffin gig... ...at his new Wynn Hotel and Casino. Although a Wynn Hotel and Casino spokesperson claims, "We are not in discussions with Michael Jackson and/or his people. These statements are completely false and inaccurate." You know they'd do that deal in a heartbeat. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Do you think it'd be cool if Michael resurfaced via Live 8 this summer? It fits his profile as a humanitarian and it's a larger-than-life cause, suitable for someone like him. Move over, BONO*! Agreed. MJ @ Live 8 would be cool. Now, that's shit I would like to see.

JANFAN4L said: What does Michael Jackson need to do to resurrect his career?
I saw this question posed in a newspaper poll this morning. Here were the answers. "If he collaborates with other popular artists then he could resurrect his career. But I wouldn't buy the album." ~ Steven, 19, Bronx "If he comes out with an album talking about what's going on right now, then people would buy it. I would buy it, too." ~ Sylvia, 20, New Jersey "I have no idea. After all this, I don't think he'll ever be the same." ~ Chris, 20, Queens "He should make a song with 50 Cent." ~ Adam, 20, Manhattan WHAT DO YOU THINK MICHAEL SHOULD DO TO RESURRECT HIS CAREER? You know what... this idea is not a new one and MJ has done it before. He did work w/ HEAVY D, BIGGIE..etc. So I think he knows that you have to be current in anything you do 2 be successful.. MJ will have an opportunity to work w/ any current HIPHOP/R&B artists if he wishes to do so.. as the BLACK community has always supported MJ despite the MEDIA's backlash I would love 2 hear MJ AND LUDACRIS! That sh** would be CRAZY!! ACTUALLY MICHAEL, JANET AND LUDACRIS .. SCREAM PT. 2!!!

The skeptic in me thinks the Neptunes time has come and gone. I don't know. It seems like everybody is stale lately. I need someone to kick me in the a** with a new sound, something innovative. I haven't gotten anything innovative in the last few years and it's making me antsy.

He should STAY TRUE TO HIS FAN BASE AGE RANGE,
at least 25 and up and be real. he's not ever going to capitalize on 1982-1984 so he should come out with a nice adult contempo album with nice upbeat jams thrown in and call it a day. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

What I meant by their "time has come and gone" is that they're not making innovative tunes anymore. Their stuff is predictable and pedestrian. Compare early Neptunes around 1998-2000 with N.O.R.E's "Superthug (What What)" and Kelis' "Suspended" to Gwen's "Hollaback Girl" and Snoop's "Signs." There is no growth. It's the same tired a** sound.

Michael Jackson getting back on top.
First off, his image isn't going to help him, so he best do a lot of good dancing in his videos. And he should learn new dance moves and techniques, which he is very capable of doing. Keep fresh and not outdated. Next, an album without songs that are ego driven or seem like he is always a victim. Just write some good fresh pop songs, and pick a producer with a current sound and not too dated. Do lots of promo, do lots of appearances, and make sure you tell the interviewers ahead of time not to talk about the trial. Talking about the trial is not good publicity. Stick to selling your product.
