Michael Jackson's in financial trouble?

Whatever. How many times has Prince been "bankrupt" according to the press? As someone at ABC "news" pointed out yesterday : "How many times has Donald Trump filed for bankrupty? And he doesn't have MJ's talent or The Beatles Catalogue."
"New Power slide...."

I think that Michael Jackson's financial troubles are overblown by the media. The idea of Michael Jackson being broke makes the media salivate like that beasts that they are.

But Donald Trump is an intelligent business man and he's made up for it.

MJ may be talented but he's made the worst business decisions in his career, whether it's through his image or his stupid actions. He forgot he was an idol to millions and millions and his fan base has dwindled like no other celebrity.

On paper he has sufficent assets but dotn forget that
the ATV if sold means he will have to pay one huge tax bill basically
meaning after paying off his debt he will be left will little

just imagine if he hadnt bought that ATV for 47.5 million back in 85 he would be totally broke by now. he is just lucky he did buy it

biggrin That's exactly what I was thinkin.

But seriously, even though Mike's made some bad choices, he can't be THAT dumb. He may be crazy (or "eccentric", as rich folks call it, lol) but he's not stupid. Yeah, he's got cash stashed somewhere.....

Besides, where do y'all think he got money to get those tailor-made suits he wore almost EVERYDAY to court?

Or besides the huge tax bills, what about his regular monthly bills, like phone, electricity, gas, food bills, childcare, etc?

Come on, Mike's gotta have a stash.
They did WHAT??!.... disbelief

If he can get himself together,he could do a year-long world tour and make millions of dollars. He's still very popular in many other countries like Japan,Australia, etc. But is he capable of touring on a large scale again? He is so frail and weak these days.

And like no other celebrity, even after all this, he actually still has fans. No one else would have, if they went through what he has.
Many ppl forget that.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."
