Jermaine Jackson "you said". Why did Jermaine stop singing for?

Well some of this album was newjack (if light newjack)

Anyone still own it? Great that 2 of the then hottest producers (think bobby brown, pebbles etc) helped out an oldtimer.

"you said, you said" is still a good slammer with a awesome bridge.....

"never thought I'd be with a girl who was a freak...."

I got the "i dream, i dream" video still. Good video. Why wasn't it a hit mad Maybe then jermaine woulda kept making albums, but he stopped? Shame.

(So mike didn't put Jermaine on his label then confused )

I think 2300 Jackson street is better than this album, not to mention Jermaine Jackson/Dynamite 84 or Let's Get Serious.

Not a bad album though. He killed it with Word To The Badd, u know Michael had that shit squashed wink

I own it wink

Yeah its a solid album. The title track hasn't dated as bad as u may think. I just know that if it were bobby singing "you said you said", it woulda been a big hit. Jermaine has 0 image for MTV, and couldn't dance for shit either. But Iam glad my boys babyface and La reid gave him a go though.

I like "word to the badd". Mechanical I like.

You Said, You Said was pretty good as was I Dream, I Dream (I don't know why he felt the need to repeat the shit). And yeah, they were both a bit New Jack. I prefer Don't Take It Personal from the previous album to both those tunes though.

Only got 2 albums. Not her famous one either.

The newjack laced "new inside" (hmmmmm, I'd still make her feel new inside razz ) and the jetsons movie soundtrack she did some songs off. Pretty rare I say lol

Heard she did drugs in her heyday. Not my debbie though. I dont think she even says the word fuck?

I just realized jermaine ain't done one track since this album. And if anything, his voice sounds great on "you said". "dont you deserve someone" is preferred MOR ballad for me over "dont take it personal", though I do love
"rise to the occasion" though.

Plus "i hear heartbeat" "do you remember me" "(closest thing) to perfect" and "i think its love" rock. All sooooo 80's. I love them.

He hasn't always looked like the wax sculpture that was birthed by a JC Penney mannequin. He was cute back in the day.

Me too. I wish I still had it. It was hialirious. I remember little, but I think some lame ass dancing was involved.

The "torture" video was was kinda silly too. They are (4 of them) doing poses etc.....I remember one of the jacksons on a big ass spider web. I was scared of that video was a little kid. Torture indeed.

Dynamite is Thriller in a women's prison. Sad concept of a video.
