Do they return his pornography and alcohol so he can get back to being the regular guy we all remember?

i was referring to the speculations that steve wynn and jackson have had some discussions regarding a several day stint at his newest hotel/casino. it wouldn't be a permanent gig like celine's deal but rather a week long thing like stevie nicks's recent set of shows.

you forgot to add "...if you are a celebrity" to your sentence. confused

And you have a ton of money. Anf your accusers were a bunch of crooked "wetbacks" with a history of attempted fraud and welfare abuse.

Let's face it : if MJ was some guy down the street, and he walked around in a mask, with his own kids under veils, and was surrounded by a bunch of pubescent boys, everyone here would say 'Fry His Ass !" But because people like his music, they think that they "know" the REAL Michael in some way, and just know he couldn't be guilty. which is of course, a stinking pile of horseshit

As I said on the last thread (XIV), if the verdict came within less than a week. I'd have been worried for MJ.

My thoughts:

1. It's somewhat of a relief that I won't have to listen to MJ's music and not have to think about him as a convicted child molester.

2. This jury was poised, well-spoken, and you could tell they tried to come to a fair and appropriate conclusion. But they hated this mama. I mean, they HATED her. They proved me wrong in the sense I thought they may be swayed by the "prior bad acts." In the end, they deserve credit for making a decision with their eyes wide open, because none of those folk appear to have Blood On The Dance Floor on their shelves.

3. The prosecutor appeared to be a beaten man. But my impression is he took this case way too personally.

4. This a was pure case of reasonable doubt. As it turned out, the facts of this case were too murky.

5. That being said, if Michael Jackson was Mike Jackson in purchasing for the water company, he'd have been toast.

6. Ultimately, however, I still think MJ brought a lot of this on himself with his lifestyle. Sleeping with young boys, and making a habit of it, is going to get you in trouble down the line. Period. Fortunately for MJ, he didn't pay a steep price for it. He likely won't ever have to worry about this kind of jeopardy again, if he's smart and lucky.

Hey people! Listen up! Did anyone even bother to follow the trial. THE EVIDENCE????? There was none! Micahel is innocent and rightfully so. I am glad that the jury had the clarity and strength to do what was right! An insinuation of guilt doesnt make it so. Thats why we have DUE PROCESS!

I mean, when I saw the Bashir documentary back in 2003, and MJ was sitting ther holding hands with that boy (just like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes on Oprah ), I'll be honest: it turned my stomach .

I also wonder if maybe "Law & Order" got it right in their episode "based" on this case. Maybe the mother deliberately sent her son over to Michael KNOWING he would be molested, in order to try to sue

Good post. I agree with it all basically, though I would still like his music even if he was a molesterer.

If it was Mike jackson, a normal guy, then yeah unfortunately ur right. I see no problem with mike sleeping with boys in a big bed if 0 sexual intensions were in his mind, but as Mike is sooooo for children and always says how much he cares for them, I think the jury saw this and saw it as (obviouly) innocent.

this case was a joke...

however, i do believe Tom Sneedon was in the right to charge it...Micheal is a fucking freak now.....there was concern...But obviously all the evidence laid out proved that being a freak doesnt mean one shoved his penis in a kids mouth..

I agree, but you know something.. I wonder if we put a microscope over the lives of all of Michael's detractors, how many of their vices or eccentrices would we uncover. Its nice and neat when the heat is on someone else but it gets mighty funky when we have to face it ourselves.

Er ... you clearly haven't been following the fact that there was evidence ... it was presented in court over several months ... it was however weighed up over several days by the jury who considered it did not present proof beyond reasonable doubt.

I was lead to the link for MJ's site, and while I don't begrudge any of you that are partying (I am happy for Cloudy, as this meant a lot to him), can we pray that the man gets help? Can we pray for some of his fans who are truly delusional? He's comparing this day to MLK's birthday and the day that Mandela was freed from jail. At the end of the little clip, it says innocent. Innocent and not guilty are two entirely different things.

Listen, Mike coulda fled, he stood up and was ready to go to Jail...he believed he was innocent and the jury found him to be not guilty. He stood up, now he needs to act like a man and get his shit together. Mike doesn't have to do anything for me now but just act like somebody with sense. No matter what I woulda always been a fan, but I pray for him as a fellow person to get his life str8

One could make the case that Sneddon is only trying to protect kids. One could also make the case that Sneddon is an oppurtunist and has an ax to grind with MJ. MJ is a big fish. It would have been Sneddon's crowning achievement in his 37 year long career. How else can you explain his ridiculous conspiracy and intoxication of a minor charges, or his jovial attitude when announcing the charges last year? I dont think hes Mr Perfect.

I swear it. Go to mjjsource.com. You may have to try a few times to bring it up. This, according to them, is a great day in history.
