Im just wondering are there any female funk bands out there? Or anybody whos trying to save funk for that matter? Apart from Jamiroquai  No Freestyling. | |

As much as I love the J, I don't consider them a funk band. Never have. I dunno who's keeping true funk alive, tho Dre has done more than virtually anyone else in the last 15 years to do so. There's always Prince. Other artists, particularly Me'Shell, and to a lesser extent, D'Angelo, Van Hunt, et al. can be funky.
