Welcome to the club. Stevie's probably my favorite all-around artist. If he was only a singer, he'd easily be in my top ten, likewise if he was only a songwriter, or only a producer, or only a drummer, or only a keyboard player, hell I'd even rank him alongside my favorite bass players, even though he played bass on the synthesizers more often than a real bass. His songs are melodically, harmonically and rhythmically advanced all at once, he can be as classy as Duke Ellington, as cool as Miles Davis, as gritty as Ray Charles, as funky as Sly Stone, or as rockin' as the Stones when he wants too. To me, more than anyone else, Stevie Wonder is music personified.

Welcome aboard the Stevie Wonder ( Morris ) Soul Train, you will enjoy the ride. He has a ton of wonderful stuff to enjoy, from the early sixties up until now. Get into it, you won't be dissapointed, unless you come across The Lady in Red or The Last Dragon soundtracks.
