The second objective is to let people know what an amazing album this fella made! I have been playing it ever since it arrived and I am smitten.
Chad VanGaalen makes music that I cannot totally describe yet, as I am only listening to it right now, but the first comparison that springs to mind is My Morning Jacket, but way better produced.

He's sent me the album too, and like Herman, I'm listening to it
right now. His music is hard to put a finger on since it draws
from so much and yet becomes entirely it's own force on this cd.
