Stevie Wonder: Hotter Than July

I really haven't heard anyone been talking about this album lately. This is the album I've been playing for almost over a week now and it is growing on me. I'm loving that whole album (with the exception of "Happy Birthday"). I consider this as a return to form of his 1970's peak, yet it sounds pretty different from those records from 1972's Music Of My Mind to 1976's Songs In The Key Of Life. I hate those dated synthesizer lines Stevie plays throughout this album. Has anyone heard this one lately?

This is my favorite Stevie Wonder album from start to finish. "Happy Birthday" is one of my favorite tracks on the album, as well as "Did I Hear You Say You Love Me" and "Do Like You".

I love this album. Last year I got rid of a lot of my CDs I was bored with(over 200) but I'd never get rid of this one. My favorite song on there is Cash In Your Face.

I love it too. Can't mess with Rocket Love, All I Do and Lately.

nod Best cuts on the album. I love the way Did I Hear You Say You Love Me bleeds into All I DO. The strings and vocals on Rocket Love are damn good too! worship

Yes they are. I love how futuristic it sounds. I feel like I'm in another world when I listen to the song.

What about "As If You Read My Mind", which is another one of my favorites from that album.

I like that song too. I enjoy singing that song in my car. I don't think there's one bad song on Hotter Than July IMHO.
