I agree w/ most whom posted here..
Coming out would kill any black american artist's career..especially if they choose to sing about it. Homosexuality in the black community is associated with shame & sin... It is probably the greatest TABOO.. and for Maxwell to come out and sing to a man.. LAWD.. Not only will he lose alot of his female fans.. he will have very lil' support. In this day of age, I would say that MAXWELL should write/sing songs that are open to interpertation..that way he can be more true to himself. I am a big fan thou'..always will be!!  | |
