Breakfast Club

I've just bought fron ebay the self-titled album of this band which is the one Madonna played the drums for before she went on to form Emmy.
I must say that this album is brilliant. There isn't one weak song. Most of them are penned by Stephen Bray (who wrote several Madonna's hit such as ITG) and Dan Gilroy. I think this is the album that Madonna should have made in 1987 instead of wasting time with WTG (movie and soundtrack).
My faves:

Never be the same (maybe the most Madonna-ish track along with Right on track)
Kiss and tell (Scritti Politti reminiscent)
Rico Mambo
Expressway to your heart (a cover)
Always be like this
