A-ha complete new Album...mixing begins

A-ha has completed their new Studio album, still yet to have a title, tracklisting is still unknown also. Production of the Album was done by Martin Terferre who produced a solo album for AHA member "mags" this past year and has done work with Coldplay. The CD is being mixed by FLOOD who has worked with U2 most notably. The cd is planned for release in September throughout the world, the USA release is still pending. AHA will preview the CD during the LIVE 8 concert in Germany and also at a Benefit on AUGUST 29th, then they will begin a 50 date european tour, taking them through Norway, England, Germany, Russia etc..

A usa tour is also pending but most likely will happen at some point in 2006 to promote the New CD.

I hope it's a little more solid than the last one.

LifeLines to me was AHA being AHA, not recording together. AHA hasnt shared much time together in the studio since their first 3 albums. Lifelines still ranks as one of my favorite AHA records next to EAST of the SUN, and Minor Earth. This time out AHA recording the whole album together and with one producer, they worked in NYC, (the village to be exact) and actually lived together at Pauls apartment while they recorded, then went back to england and finished it.
