Judge to Beyonce: Pay Up

Judge to Beyonce: Pay Up

Beyoncé's booty is on the line for a whole lot of money.

A New York Supreme Court judge has ruled that the Destiny's Child frontwoman owes Wilhelmina Models a hefty settlement stemming from her 2001 gig as a L'Oréal spokeswoman.

The agency claimed that the "Naughty Girl" singer's lucrative contract came about as a result of the hard work put in by Wilhelmina agents.

However, Beyoncé, 23, allegedly failed to acknowledge the agency's efforts and negelected to pay the commission and service fee she owed.

Under the judge's ruling, Beyoncé owes Wilhelmina Models a settlement in the neighborhood of $1 million. A final number was still being hammered out.

The agency was gleeful about the ruling in its favor.

"I think that America's little sweetheart just got some very bad legal advice," Wilhelmina President Sean Patterson told Celebrity Justice. (falloff)

Not that Beyoncé should have any trouble recouping the funds. The Grammy-winning singer is currently in the midst of her first world tour with Destiny's Child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland in several years, promoting the group's latest album, Destiny Fulfilled.

The North American leg of the McDonald's-sponsored Destiny Fulfilled...and Lovin' It tour will begin in St. Louis on July 9 and hit 34 cities in all, before wrapping up in Vancouver on Sept. 10.

The always fashion-conscious women of Destiny's Child will be clad in duds designed by the House of Dereon, the label Beyoncé founded with her mother, Tina Knowles.

Following the tour, the band members reportedly plan to return to solo projects.
