Love In Stereo is spotty but its not without its charm. The Van Hunt produced tracks are really good. I do prefer the first album, it's more consistent. After Hours is pretty good too, although I never really got into it that much. I think I will give it a spin tonight.

I absolutely adore both. Listen again to the track "humour" where he pays homage to prince with his 'screams of passion' line. The bootsy sample rocks too... it is more r&b than his first, jazzier record. After hours is good too.. but I love love love anything rahsaan (and v. hunt) put out..

I don't have 'After Hours'. I like the 'Love In Stereo' album but have to agree that his first album is better.

I don't like either album that much. Bought "Love in Stereo" a long
time ago when it was just released and thought it was great. But it got old real fast imo. The first album, I never got into that much. He's got a nice voice, but after a few songs it starts grating on my nerves. We are talking about Rashaan Patterson, right? and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
