I am going to see them this September in LA, they better deliver the goods.
tho' I battled blind
love is a fate resigned
memories mar my mind
love it is a fate resigned

Over futile odds
and laughed at by the Gods
and now the final frame
Love is a losing game

Am I the only one who finds it peculiar that the tour is called "Destiny Fulfilled... and lovin' it"?

They are the postergirls for McDonalds. I bet McDonalds is a principle sponsor.

Oh, in what a corporatized world we live.

from the PRNewswire:

"We're lovin' the chance to work with McDonald's and know that together
we'll create lots of fun and cool surprises," said Beyonce Knowles, founding
member of Destiny's Child. "McDonald's shares our passion for music, so we
can't wait to start connecting to our fans -- McDonald's customers -- all over
the world."
The global partnership will include McDonald's sponsorship of the group's
new worldwide tour -- "Destiny Fulfilled and lovin' it." The tour begins in
the spring of 2005 and includes stops in the United Kingdom, France, Germany,
Spain, Japan, Australia and Brazil, as well as throughout the U.S. and Canada
next summer. Destiny's Child will also be featured in new commercials and
special restaurant merchandising around the world.

it would be funny if it weren't so sad.

Okay, I was just curious. On another board, we were talking about our least favorite lip-synchers and someone said "Destiny's Child" and was remarking how he/she'd seen them "miss their cues".

Yeah, that's pretty bad. I didn't even make the connection before! I figured it was just something to add to the title of the album....but alas, it's schilling!

Yeah that has to be true. I went to McDonalds the other day and the bag my salad was in had Destiny's Child on there. They were singing into forks as their microphones.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

For your info it's "Destiny's Child" not "destiny children".They don't lip synch if you knew your info well enough but you wouldn't know anything because you're probably too old to know so it's best you just sit and observe instead of infer what you don't know...
