Rapping doesn't require any skills that can be compared to playing an actual instrument anybody with a sense of rhythm can rap ! i like some of the others mentioned , tho' And to see Prince in there Tom waits is ok , imo

I know "Licensed to Ill" and "Paul's Boutique" are supposed to be the Beasties' landmark albums, but I think they got a lot better after the 80's. If you wanna know why they're truly great, check out "Check Your Head".

THRILLER was the greatest album of the 80's and they know it "Americans consume the most fast food than any nation on Earth and the stupid motherfuckers wonder why they are so fat? " - Oprah Winfrey

I prefer New Day Rising to Zen Arcade, but it's nice to see them up there. Acclaimed Music is a great site, but I always feel like it's weighted a little too heavily to the NME/Melody Maker view of the world. Psychocandy and Dare, for example, are good albums, but I don't think they quite rank with SOTT or Remain in Light.
