Oh, shit, for a minute I thought you were finally doing a thread on the theme music from the Sonic The Hedgehog video games on the Sega Genesis platform.

I ain't no computer geek, BUT the first world on sonic and knuckles and some on sonic 3 are straight out funky. Beatboxers wet dream. I downloaded some of it. Just a few tracks though, I dont like the mundane ones.

Ok, so let me get this straight: this is a thread on early 90's video game theme music? Blips and bleeps and all?

U being sarcy? I don't care where the music comes from, just as long as I can beatbox to it. Anyway, I dont like other console music, but the japanese know their criminally loud snares and drum loops. Better then any score from the early 90's.

I don't know. I think you'd really like the early 90's reunion of PacMan, though. Those were some funky themes.

Never got into the old games. First one I played was the one on Playstation. Mario music sucks. So annoyingly chirpy. Sonic had the image, speed and beats.

My favorite is when PacMan eats the pink ghostie. Such funky beats.

If you really want to go old school, though, buy a Commodore 64 and play the original Pong. Those are some spare, slick beats right there.

You will be transported to a new funk dimension that only geeky computer programmers could envision.

very funny geek boy. Iam talking sonic only. I love my old sonic and mario games. And the sonic collection is a good way to pass the time.

Theme rocks too. Check them snares out. So loud, and the drum programming so fast, u may just piss ur pants.

Man, I haven't played the Sonic games in years. But I do remember Sonic 2 on Sega Genesis having some really cool beats. I downloaded an MP3 from Sonic 2 back when Napster was peddling illegal music. Cool stuff.

Sonic 2 is ok, but the loops got crazier and more in ur face on sonic and knuckles and sonic 3. Check out them tinny, trebly snares.
