It is, very offensive. I am sick of this stereotype especially the stereotypes on white women. I go to a very diverse school in Michigan. I have a big round butt and a lot of black guys have tried to holla at me. Some of them have said to me..."damn girl, you hav a fat ass booty.. you got some black in you."It really irritates me to hear that. Having a big butt is because it runs in your family. It runs in my family. It is not because you are a certain race. Nor is your dancing ability. It's whether or not you were born with rhythm or a talent to dance. We need to stop these stereotypes because it is pushing white and black people farther apart from each other.

I can't speak on the dancing part but the big booty part I can. It's rear to see a white lady with a Sista/Spanish lady type booty. So when a brotha sees that he's shocked, we think that you have to have some other ethnic orgin in your blood because most of the white ladies we encounter don't have round backsides like are Sistas and Spanish ladies They are usually flat as a pancake in the booty area.

Don't be offended by it, hell all we want to do is stick are faces in between those cheeks, see it's a win-win situation if you like that kinda service from a man, LOL!!

There are stereotypes for all races. Some are good and some are bad. It all depends on how you take them. The girls should have told him that they couldn't dance because he didn't make music funky enough for them to dance to. Hell, a real jam will get someone in a wheelchair's head to bobbing. Real funk heals your ills.

If hip hop would die, maybe funk could come back. If not funk, maybe at least something else uptempo with some rhythm can take over. Anything to get us out of this dead ass midtempo rut we've been in for 15 years.

Well, it's not just white people who can't dance. If we go back to the original post ....

"I saw him in his shitty making the band 3, and he was making comments to some black girls about their lack of dancing ability, and along the lines they should be ashamed of being black, what are saying here Puff Shitty, that just because a person is black, they automatically know how to dance?? And white people don't??? Maybe it was me but that's how I took it.. "

.... some black folks can't either.

In fact, I don't agree with you at all. People either have a sense of rhythm and co-ordination or they don't. I know plenty of black people who can't dance to save their lives, like I know plenty of white folks who dance terrifically - and none of them had dance lessons from 10-18 like you did, and neither do they go to clubs every weekend.

well said clapping

i always felt that dancing when done naturally is done to your rhythm sense and the best way to feel that rhythm is how you feel inside,, music is such an adrenaline.. when your hear something you like it moves you mentally and physically.

most people i know that dance good dont copy it from MTV videos or other dancers theny dance to how they feel and how comfortable they are and sometimes just sometimes they look like they are proffesional dencers with choreography, but its only because they are enjoying themselves they look good,..

dance with a smile you cant go wrong... wink

P.Diddy is the most arrogant piece of shit, lol.I watched a few episodes of this show and he is such a jerk.I truly feel sorry for those girls. When they're singing,he acts as if he is so bored, rolling his eyes and looking away. And when he is paying attention to them,he's insulting them with vicious put-downs.Seriously,why are these girls going through all this bullshit? Most of his proteges don't amount to much,anyway....one or two albums, then they're over (remember Dream? Total? I rest my case).

Uh, well. My butt is wide and round. I have gotten a ton of attention from it. A lot. There's this thing called nightwatch. It's people sitting at the door to the dorms and they watch to see if anyone is coming in who shouldn't. My friend works there and he told me about the black guys who talk about me and say how my butt was nice and round. I would also be talkin to my friend at the front desk, and he said some of the black guys would said damn or o wee. LOL

Honey, black women get stereotyped the worst! At least, yours is something positive!

Not really. They say that black guys try to go for white girls because they think we are easier than black girls. Some of the black girls give me stares when I am talking or sitting with some black guys.

W/O reading any of the comments - why does someone always have to be called a racist everytime they make a comment?

It just sounds like he's sterotyping - and perhaps placing them on a higher standard because typically blacks have more ryhthm. Is he wrong - yes he is! Is he racist - no he's not.

Everyone copies something from somewhere - for example, you copied your dancing from your family in childhood. Who is to say that a white child growing up in a similar environment to yours (where, say, they witness their family dance daily or fairly regularly) would not later develop into a great dancer as you you have?

What kind of dancing are we talking about here? I really think this debate is something that we have to be witnessing together because I have seen a shift in the way white people dance from the 80's till now and it has become blurred with the way black people dance. There used to be distinctions. White women were not moving their hips back and forth the way they are doing now

When you say "similar enviroment" do you mean an urban enviroment? Not sure what to say to that. My nephews were bopping their heads at 9 months. I've never seen a white child do that and I grew up in a predominately white neighborhood
