Is P-Diddy racist??

I saw him in his shitty making the band 3, and he was making comments to some black girls about their lack of dancing ability, and along the lines they should be ashamed of being black, what are saying here Puff Shitty, that just because a person is black, they automatically know how to dance?? And white people don't??? Maybe it was me but that's how I took it..

I can't beleive MTV don't see through his bullshit....

maybe u r right, I just think natrual talent is most important, not the color of your skin. In a world that still has racial problems, that kind of stuff should be left of the air..

If he was someone whose opinion really mattered to me then I might care. But, he's an entertainer, and I developed a tolerance for politically incorrect entertainment a long time ago.

White folks, you're much too tight.
You gotta shake your head like the black folks.
You might get some tonight.
Look out!

P-Diddy is full of shit. He needs to be pimp2 and fishslap for the way he treats people and objectifies woman. His record company has went down the toilet due to his lack of respect for his race and people in general.

I've never known a white person that could dance naturally without formal training shrug

The hip-hop style of dancing was created by black folks and I think that is the kind of dancing on the show. Sure there are black folks that can't dance. I've known some. It's a crying shame

i find this thread to be very offensive to white people

It is, very offensive. I am sick of this stereotype especially the stereotypes on white women. I go to a very diverse school in Michigan. I have a big round butt and a lot of black guys have tried to holla at me. Some of them have said to me..."damn girl, you hav a fat ass booty.. you got some black in you."It really irritates me to hear that. Having a big butt is because it runs in your family. It runs in my family. It is not because you are a certain race. Nor is your dancing ability. It's whether or not you were born with rhythm or a talent to dance. We need to stop these stereotypes because it is pushing white and black people farther apart from each other.

nod My thoughts exactly. You read my mind Jan.

Unless you're referring strictly to any sorta hip hop style dancing, y'all are outta your minds! lol I know my way around a dance floor enough not to make a fool of myself and I've got no formal training. Unlike Fozzie Bear, I DO got rhy-thm!

And as far as Puff Diddy is concerned...no, he's not a racist. He's just an ignorant opportunist. As long as he can find his way to a dollar bill, he'll do all he can to find its way into his pocket.

I do. There are some people out there that can watch people dancing and then get the dance move right away.

and in order for you to get that rhythm of hip-hop style dancing, you had to see it somewhere right? BET maybe? Did you hang around blacks or latinos that taught you? Even if you are not formally trained, most dancing done today (the basic 2-step, the freak, hip roll) came from blacks folks too. To add to my previous comment, I've never seen a white person who had rhythm that didn't study it real hard, either from t.v. or their friends of color

I hate to go to bed on an argument, or misunderstanding as it were lol I think we're talking about two different things here. You're talking about specific dances. That much I get, and yes, I realize that these dances you're referring to were popularized and likely conceived by people of color. I understand and agree with that.

I'm talking about the ability to dance, which I don't think is specific to any one race or group of races. Not to dumb it down too much, but the ability to dance only requires that you be able to 1) count, 2) keep the beat and 3) move your body. Anyone who can do that, including me, should be able to dance. I am not talking about specific dances. You apparently are, no?

I've seen people hop up and down on beat, yes, but I don't call that dancing. My whole point is most of the dancing I see out there in the clubs (even the most basic) is actually urban-style dancing, which was obviously learned from someone or something. Did you see the movie Hitch? I didn't see the whole thing, but I saw the scene where Will's character is trying to show the other guy how to dance. He was showing him the basic two-step with a bop to his head, which is urban. I grew up with urban-style dancing and "street" dancing. I was dancing for the adults in the house as early as 4 (maybe younger). My family always danced around me. Most whiet people don't grow up with urban-style dancing in their home from birth.

Do you do the freak or the basic two-step, swaying from side-to-side?
