His career was on the decline before this scandal. Hip hop has dominated the charts for years and, unless an artist sells out to it, they don't usually do well. Michael also has a gay appearance and even if he did sell out to hip hop, he would never be accepted because I can't think of a more homophobic genre of music out there than hip hop.

If he is able, he should begin to address his financial and health problems. For example, selling Neverland and cutting some decent music that is marketed well might help the budget. Cancelling any porno subscriptions and deciding not to entertain minors in his bed overnight would also be a sensible approach to take. But somehow I suspect he'll make ill-informed decisions and continue to be surrounded by people who will not help him.

Just remember that in Europe, in places like France, Germany and the UK despite bad press, MJ is still huge, he sold almost 2million copies of Number Ones in the UK alone, compared with 1.5million in the US and almost a million in France. Worldwide he is still massive and Invincible sold almost 10million worldwide. These days 10million is massive, in fact besides Usher, not that many CDs have sold more than that this decade.
