Eric Benet new album "Hurricane" June 21

Amazon.com review:
Eric Benet blows away all expectations with Hurricane. Stunningly sophisticated and orchestral, filled with string and horn sections, Hurricane is a deeply emotional and romantic album from one of the most distinctive and charismatic of contemporary R&B balladeers. Hurricane, the singer/songwriter's return after a six-year absence from recording-following the gold, R&B Top 10 A Day In the Life-proves that it has been worth the wait.

tracklist
1. Be Myself Again
2. Pretty Baby
3. Hurricane
4. Where Does the Love Go
5. My Prayer
6. Man Enough to Cry
7. I Know
8. India
9. The Last Time
10. In the End
11. Making Love
12. Cracks of my Broken Heart
13. I Wanna Be Loved
14. Still With You

I really hope it's as good as his first two that I have! We've waited long enough!

"I Wanna Be Loved" is a track he submitted to Earth Wind and Fire several years ago.He originally recorded it as a duet with Philip Bailey, and it was scheduled to appear on their 2003 album 'The Promise'.The song didn't make the tracklist,so I guess Eric decided to save it for his own album.

His 1st CD "True To Myself" was pretty good. Fit with a lot of the stuff that came out in 96/97 (Maxwell, D, Erkah Badu). Didn't care much for his last one. It'll be interesting to see how the new one does. Not to be funny, but I'm sure all the songs are about Halle.

His first album was pretty good but his others did nothing for me. The duets with Tamia and Faith didn't hit me either. Actually, he just seems sorta wack now.

I'm a tad curious but he did admit that much of the album is about Halle which is a bummer because I seriously don't want to hear more of his personal drama in song.

nod Exactly. The personal drama shit is tired especially when he was the cheating mutha in the relationship.
