Wow, using THAT gradation, then you might think Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys are the bomb, don't you? Album sales to me never were a way to measure an artist's weight. George Michael, like Prince, has a way to mind the bigger picture, involving record companies and their fights to wrestle themselves out of their control. I wish someone would just take George Michael to a good club and go dancing with the fella. He looks like he needs to dance and have fun and be reminded what is FUN about music. But you love "Listen Without Prejudice". That ain't exactly a party. Pretty deep and sad stuff. But those songs are not fickle sounding musically. LWP is beautiful because it is heartfelt and straight from the heart, as is Jesus To A Child. But the rest of Older just seems to thrive on the wrong kind of vibe for me to interact with. I am not even talking about his cover album and his latest... Where the sky goes on for miles/And never tires of an improbable blue

"Fastlove" does it for me. I love the juxtaposition of that and "Jesus To A Child" on the album. George starts off mourning the love of his life and follows it up with a joyous ode to the joys of promiscuity. [Edited 6/6/05 11:47am] There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
