fucking sold 10 million faith album in the usa alone,

Wow, using THAT gradation, then you might think Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys are the bomb, don't you?

lol

Album sales to me never were a way to measure an artist's weight. George Michael, like Prince, has a way to mind the bigger picture, involving record companies and their fights to wrestle themselves out of their control.

I wish someone would just take George Michael to a good club and go dancing with the fella. He looks like he needs to dance and have fun and be reminded what is FUN about music.

But those songs are not fickle sounding musically. LWP is beautiful because it is heartfelt and straight from the heart, as is Jesus To A Child. But the rest of Older just seems to thrive on the wrong kind of vibe for me to interact with.

I am not even talking about his cover album and his latest...

Older is an amazing cd. I love all of George's solo work. He has an incredible voice and he writes beautiful lyrics.

"Fastlove" does it for me. I love the juxtaposition of that and "Jesus To A Child" on the album. George starts off mourning the love of his life and follows it up with a joyous ode to the joys of promiscuity.
