I have seen there is alot of fans of Soul, R&B, Funk and Rap music on here, and I was thinking of making a forum for these types of music. I wil have a section for Motown, Stax, Atlantic, The Sound of Philadelphia, Funk etc. and one for Modern R&B and Rap. To my knowledge there is no music forum which has covered all these genres so I thought I'd make my own. I've been trying to think of a good name, so it would be cool if you all could make some suggestions for a name for the forum. My original idea was for a Motown forum as their message board isn't up anymore but I thought there is much more to discuss in addition to Motown.

Also anyone know of any good free forum hosts?. There's Invision Free and also PHPBB for free too.

If I have a good response to this topic I will make the forum asap. Looking forward to everyone's reply.

I am still thinking of going with a Motown theme and have sub forums for the other things I mentioned like Modern R&B, Funk, Rap etc. etc.

That's a great idea if the site is dedicated to Motown and mainly for Motown fans, kinda like prince.org is for Prince fans. If you are wanting to attract people who are into all types of soul, a title referring to Motown wouldn't work because mainly hardcore Motown fans would find it and others wouldn't know it exists.
