Ironically, the song began as a celebration of coke. The "don't do it" tag was added for commercial reasons. If you look at an original vinyl label from the 12" , the title is actually "White Lines (Don't Don't Do It)" thus creating a double negative and the song might as well be called "Hey lets do some coke" ... But a classic nonetheless. Love it. Keep your headphones on. | |
