Love the system. david frank is superb. As is mic murphy (love his voice- gets no respect) get mics solo album. Very much like the system. Very strong album. One of my all time favs. Called "touch" and dropped in 1991. | |

The System were pretty good. Mic Murphy was a good singer. They had a funny video back in the 80's where Mic was riding a motorcycle with this big pompadour and had all the "Purple Rain" style camera shots on him. I forget the name of the song, but the video was funny. | |

The name of that song and video is "Pleasure Seekers",from the summer of 1985.It's unintentionally hilarious.Mic is wearing dark shades,with long hair hanging over his eye,and he is riding a motorcycle.I wonder where he got that idea from??  | |

HAHA!! Thanks David! I may have to email VH1 Classics and see if they can find that vid. Remember Rene & Angela's video (was it "I'll Be Good"?)..Rene was trying to get his "Purple Rain" on too (motorcycle and camera close ups). We may have to start a new thread on the "Purple Rain" rip offs.  | |
