unfortunately for those who are sensitive to this subject matter, it's a difficult time to turn on the television or open a magazine or even log on to a web site. people are gonna be making MJ pedophile jokes for a long time to come, whether he's guilty or not. sometimes the only way to deal with this kind of overwhelming thing is to learn how to tune it out and realize that when people make these jokes, they're not making them at your expense. i know it's not easy, and i know it's easy for me to say, not having been in your shoes.

still, it's hard to live in a world that doesn't have the sensitivity to know when it's hurting people like you. it sucks that sometimes we have to build armors to live in this world, but...
