Jam Of The Day: Gloria Gaynor's "Anybody Wanna Party" As much as I am soooo tired of hearing Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive", I am definately feeling "Anybody Wanna Party". That was a true ass shaker back in the day and one that hardly ever gets any airplay today. Give it up if you like this jam. Andy is a four letter word.

I do like this song. I never ever need to hear I Will Survive again, but this one's a goodie!
And your signature makes me giggle. It's true - there's really no such thing as popular dance music anymore. Nothing is fast enough to dance to.

Great song. Much better than "the anthem". I hid this LP from my mother because back then she would play "the anthem" over and over. No disrespect to the song because I'm sure it got a lot of women (and men) through some stuff, but yes it is played out. "Anbody Wanna Party" is a cool tune. (Gloria Gaynor's autobiography is a good book too.)

"Anybody wanna party down tonight? Anybody wanna party...anybody wanna party?" I recently found a vinyl copy of her 1979 'Love Tracks' album. It's a disco classic.
