oh yeah the blips and beeps, thats quality, i mean its over the top, but michael can get away with it, he is over the top.. the blips i have to admitt were quite original and a nice surprise to that that song never a dull moment, although wait, the song could do without the RAP bit, there was nooo need for that, it think that was the only flaw to the song. Heartbreaker rules.. but my favourtie track from the album is Whatever happens that tracks stand out miles ahead it will end up being in my top favourite of mike for a while.. P.S - Your Avator -bring back Hammer i miss Hammer man, Barely ever hear "whatever happens". Barely ever hear that album period (except the first 3) Hammer is gone (for now).

Here are some interesting fact about this album
1. The song "2000 watts" was originally written by Tyreese, for his CD by the same name. When Michael heard the track, he asked Tyreese if he could have the track for his own CD and well, he gave it to Michael. If you look at the credits, it is credited to Michael, Teddy, and Tyreese. 2. Justin Timberlake's cd contained songs that Michael had rejected. Songs like Senorita and Like I love you were written for the History and Invincible albums. Michael for some reason rejected them. 3. One last bit of trivia. On the group, BlackStreet's first album, there is a song called, Joy. This was originally written for the "Dangerous" CD, but for some reason it was left off. Later. Im so glad Mike rejected Senorita..ugh I hate that song, always have. When he gets up to the bridge trying too hard to copy Pharell's vocal niche' it's just ear-renching...doesnt make me wanna repeat after him at all. Thank U 4 the info!!! Straight Jacket Funk Affair

Most of the tracks were pretty awesome, but some were just horrible. Some of them also sounded a little like they were remixed. If he just didn't try to overproduce it and letting his ego get in the way by saying "it's the most expensive album of all-time" hundreds and hundreds of times, I think it would've been more of a successful album. I remember playing the album on my personal CD player numerous of times back in 2001 and I think of it as a average record that is better than most of the HIStory material he did back in '95.
[Edited 6/1/05 18:00pm] Don't blame Michael. Blame Rodney "DarkChild" Jenkins (AKA The Producer Responsible for provoking the break-up of The Spice Girls with the SAME sorryass production sounds that he used for Brandy, Toni Braxton, & J.Ho!!!). [Edited 6/3/05 22:19pm]

[Edited 6/3/05 22:19pm] I would not blame Rodney. I think the blame soley belcongs to Michael. He has become so obessed with topping "Thriller". Michael, seems to have a habit of listening to others and not going on instinct. When u think about it, just because your album goes to No.1 does not mean that it is a great album. It just means that it contains stuff that people want to hear. That material however, might not be your best work. In the case of Invincible, I think that it is his best stuff since, "History" and maybe even "Thriller". It has some of the best ballads since, "The lady in my life". Michael just needs to relax and do some real soul searching, before he puts out another CD. Maybe, this court case will bring out something inside of him. The something that has been missing for so long. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

dam right, it be better for mike to be put in a box for a year(no prison joke pun intended there) and then release an album str8 away and that way it would be his own creation and inspiration within him self, not the latest trend thats out among pop idols.., he used to make the trend, now he tries to jump on it for acceptance..

[Edited 6/4/05 8:34am] Where is tyrese? Anyway, I knew about blackstreet. I think Michael is on that track? i got that album. I should check. iam glad for the rodney tracks. Even "we've had enough" was awesome. Rodney understands MJ. Those rodney tracks are pure MJ tracks. The others off "invincible" are great, but I feel like anyone coulda sang them. No one coulda sang "we've had enough" or even "invincible" like MJ. He lives off them tracks. Teddy knew that. Jam and Lewis tried, and I loved waht they did on the track "history", but rodney is good for MJ. Teddys "dont walk away" may be boyband stuff, but its nice filler and "shout" confirmed that teddy can still produce hot shit when he wants to! it was so funny to see freeze on "break of dawn". Hadn't seen him since CMB's classic "i wanna sex u up". Talk about a blast from the past.

Otherwise the album contains some of his best ballads " Break of Dawn, Speechless, You are My Life, and Cry." Privacy was a little too much HIStory flavored.... Whatever Happens with Santana is sadly a lost gem which should have been a single. And "Threatened" is great too, but it's no "Thriller" Overall, i think this album is underappreciated, though i don't think the sales were too shabby. I believe it was more appreciated than HIStory, the MOST underappreciated MJ album. It sold 6 million worldwide I believe this album did, yeah? 2 Million in the U.S. I believe. You should add "Shout" to that list which was much better than 2000 Watts, but int he same vein. His rap-lyric ability is on FIRE! . I put Shout on my own version of invincible instead of 2000 Watts and took Cry off also... Threatened was HOTT. HOW in the hell did he get that narrator to mishmash and say what he wanted him to? He must have taken alot of reasearch to make that one line up. Invincible sold 8 million worldwide. 2 million in the US.
