Suspicious Minds

the ELVIS classic

Either you love him or you don't.

But for those who love him, is there a better song than this? GOD, I love it.

Apparently, this was voted as the favorite track by his fans. I like it okay, but not a favorite of mine. I actually really dig the Fine Young Cannibals' version.

Whoops. Thats the group I meant. The fine youngs version. Pet shop boys did "always on my mind", which is miles better then the original. Thanx 4 that.

This was one of the most well written and performed songs by Elvis. I ususally can't tolerate alot of his songs. However, this one was fairly decent.

I also love it, and it's definitely my favorite of his.

And I really like the Pet Shop Boys and Willie Nelson version as well. Great song!

Elvis is very overrated, but goddamnit if Suspicious Minds isn't a SUPERB song!

Great fun to holler along to...And I swear I don't do the spinning-your-arm-like-a-windmill thing on bended knee like Elvis does in the film footage of the song every time I hear it. Honest! redface

It's not my favourite Elvis song, but it's great nevertheless. I have too many favourite EP songs to list but I'll name a handful of them quickly...

(Not necessarily songs originally recorded by Elvis, but my favourite recorded performances by him)

Any Way You Want Me
Rags To Riches
You'll Never Walk Alone
Such A Night
The Girl Of My Best Friend

One of the greatest (if not the greatest) male vocalists of the 20th century.
