Anyone else here like the SOS Band?? I've just rediscovered SOS Band and I love them. I love the songs Just Be Good to Me,Borrowed Love, and Tell Me if Ya Still Care. Anyone else here a fan and what are your favourite songs??  | |

Hell yeah! I love some SOS Band.

They were the driving train for alot of Jimmy & Terry's production and songwriting so most of their songs were good!!

Good to hear others appreciate their music. The other thing I think is pretty kick ass about them is that some of them played instruments. They were an actual band. I forget which video of theirs I saw some time ago, but they had like eight keyboardists in a row--it was awesome.

Nice thread. Man, I grew up on some SOS. That's barbecue music right there.
They came to Columbus several years ago and I got to see them. That show was just like a Frankie Beverly show: one big party. | |

I think Jam & Lewis' finest work wasn't with Janet or even with Cherrelle or Alexander O'Neal. For my money, there's nothing better in this world than the work they did with SOS Band in the early 80s. I love all that other stuff, too, but those beats and synth riffs were so fresh sounding then. | |
