I was listening to Radio 1 the other morning when this danced up version of I Would Die 4 U came on. Sara Cox was raving about it. Apparently its being released next month and by some random dance band. has anyone else heard it? what do ya thhink?

Ever since that dreadful Acid Factor "When Doves Cry", I've had a fear of house covers of Prince songs. The feedback I've been hearing on this one sounds just as bleak, no? Yes?

I have the Erotic City dance mix and I Would Die 4 U extended mix on CD. It was made in Germany in 1989.
Erotic City is 7:15 and I Would Die 4 U is 10:15.

In other words. No. Noone has heard it. Being as the re-mix is brand new. My friend was telling me about it the other day. He said it was pretty good and he doesn't even listen to Prince.

Heard it yesterday afternoon (local Radio Station here in the North West,UK, Rock FM?)

Its called Die U 4, by someone called Space Cowboy.

It doesnt seem to veer too far from the original recording, although didnt hear it too well as the radio isnt too loud here at work (not meant to be on at all... ssshhh !)
