Man, thats hard. i agree with most of the selections above. marvin touches the soul. for me, his music really is the bridge 2 a higher spirtuality - maybe even god.
words cant express how much this mans work means to me. As a side question... and an awkward question because I've only heard this song a handful of times and the AM radio station I heard it on never knows what I'm talking about.
Have any of you ever heard a song by a woman singing about "getting funky" and "keeping it funky" with Marvin Gaye singing background vocals and ad-libs on it? I can't distinguish the woman's voice but the background vox are unmistakeably Marvin's.  Please know what I'm talking about somebody | |
