I have no idea about the trial, i have not really been following it. All i can hope is that true justice is served - whatever that may be. All i would like to say is that when i look at michael jackson i dont deliberate whether or not he's guilty or whether he's innocent. Nor does his phyical appearance startle me. All i ever notice when i see pictures of him are his eyes. In his eyes i see an exceptionally troubled soul. you can see the pain inside him, for whatever reason that may be.

Hey kids, I haven't been very vocal during the trial. Boring grown up stuff like work gets in the way.

I have been following it though, and I must admit I can't really see why so many think it's going so well for MJ. I can see that the prosecution has many holes, but innocent or guilty the man must be through with his career now. From both the defence and the prosecution I see a man who I just don't like anymore...

I must admit though, as a Jackson fan in the past I am feeling very sad as we reach the verdict. If MJ is found guilty I think the repurcussions will be felt worldwide, by myself included. I feel for all those fans on here who, for their own reasons believe he is innocent of all charges. The outcome, no matter which way it swings can only be tragic in my mind right now.

Ok then. Then that's your own opinion. We are not talking about his career nor are we concerned with it as of right now. I can't believe you would even think about that now. We or aleast I am concerned of what the outcome of the trial will be, not his career.

It just seems ironic that a black man(some of u might not think he is because u think he bleached his skin) who is the most famous, most influential, and the most popular entertainer in the history of this world is at the lowest point in his life. Yes, some of this he brought on himself. He's naive and stubborn. But a lot of it didn't. Michael didn't stay in his place and I think that's why many white men are out to get him. If you notice, the only people involved in this case who are trying to set him up are white. I am not blaming an entire race nor am I saying that Michael isn't responsible for everything that came upon him. It just seems whenever a black man or woman becomes sucessful and/or sets records, it seems like there is always going to be some white people(esp. white men) that want to bring that man or woman down.

I woundn't blame him at all for leaving. I am so sick of the U.S. at times.

In response to the comments above. I do not deny that racism is still rife. What I cannot agree on is that this entire trial stems from that. He is facing these charges because an accusation was made.

MJ made some very dodgy personal choices. He slept on the floor,sure but he slept on the bed too and slept with young boys. It is evident from his own words and the words of others that he has an odd obsession with young males. And before I am jumped on - I have not said that this is equivalent to being a paedophile.

He was burned once in 1993 and continued to go his own sweet way, nobody brave enough to tell him that he was walking straight into trouble. There are many on this board who believe that they somehow have insider knowledge on this case. I have made an effort to read pro-Jackson accounts as well as the usual tabloid reactions. Both are equally as biased and equally omit certain details.

I am undecided as to the verdict and I think it is likely that it will be a mistrial.

All I have said is that the MJ presented during this trial is not a man I admire any more. I don't agree with his lifestyle choices but more than that I abhor his self-assured belief that he can do whatever the hell he chooses and not face the consequences.

and then i read a pro MJ newspaper and a Con-Mj newspaper...
and then you know who's really on par!
