going to see beck in glasgow tonight at the start of his european guero tour...looking forward to it...never seen him live before so will let you all know how it goes tonight....one of the few really interesting music artists in the last ten years so lets see how he cuts it live

He cancelled the show I was gonna see

Just got tickets yesterday for the Vancouver show!

just back from the glasgow gig. beck is certainly very talented and his songs sound great live and loud....minus points were that he only played for about 1 hour 20 mins which i thought was a bit short for a major act like him with about 8 albums behind him. he also finished with "get real paid"...one of the poorer tracks from "midnite vultures" which i found a bit strange but thats beck for you.....another thing was that apart from "loser" "devils haircut" "where its at"and "the golden age"...all the tracks were from guero(love the album but the thing was, he played 3 songs from the extended version of the album that are not on the regular version????..and he played clap hands twice????)
sound as if i am moaning but i did enjoy the concert....just found it a bit strange in parts....."loser" went down a storm by the way....a real ninties anthem that one.
so overall, beck gets the for a good gig...just a few things that had me going ....but he aint no prince
