I'll agree with American Life, but Music is quite the opposite. What do songs like Music, Impressive Instant, Runnaway Lover, Amazing, Don't Tell Me have to do with her being self indulgent? Even What It Feels Like For a Girl, she was tackling an issue, the song wasn't solely about her. | |

Lots of poor albums fit into this category, but I will also add:
Mansun - Six Very self-indulgent, but in all the right ways. How else would you come up with an album like that unless you did indeed throw in everything including the kitchen sink?! | |
