Because I don't think compilations count here - we're talking about original material, as it was released.

"radio ga ga" "hammer to fall" "is this the world we created" etc.....not much filler to be found.

As usual, your favorite is the absolute worst thing the band ever did.

How come you're never on any of the Bowie threads? And where's JJ? I like a lot of artists - check my profile Janet is my favorite pop artist, but I'm not going to claim she's cerebral. These are far, far better records than anything she's capable of. I still think What's Going On is the best piece of sonic art I've ever heard. I listen to it constantly. I really like Kate Bush, 1978-1985. She sort of lost me with The Red Shoes. Hounds Of Love is the best thing she ever did, a truly magnificent record. Bowie I am a casual fan of, except with respect to "Heroes", so that's why I don't usually frequent the Bowie threads. I have all Blondie albums, and this is the only really consistent listen through and through. It has an unparalled vibrancy. And I have most of Roxy Music's early 70's albums, but I think Avalon is their best work, even if it isn't their most experimental. [Edited 5/26/05 9:39am]

"kind of magic" is better then "night at the opera", thanx to the highlander sampling. Love that movie.

I can never say greatest, but these are my favorites. My list always changes, but this is what it looks like more or less, and for purely personal and selfish reasons....

It's just that I never see you talk about them. Yeah, there aren't too many of those threads anymore, though. Two years ago, the content of this forum was a lot different. theAudience and I had many a conversation on here.

I don't get what you mean. I've been around for 7 or 8 years, whenever it officially became the 'org', and when 2.0 opened. I don't really notice a difference in this forum so much. The Prince: Music & More forum is a much different story though.
