The long wait is finally over, you Fab Four Fanatics. There was conflict, indecision, indifference, politics, and frustration and through it all we the people struggled to let go of one piece after another of this wonderful groundbreaking chunk of songs. Ultimately, it would seem that Paul McCartney won this survivor as the top two places are both his songs. The peak of Beatles psychedelia and one of Lennon's masterpieces, tomorrow never knows, was voted off far too early , as were George's razer sharp rockers, Taxman, I want to tell you , and the superb raga-rock of Love You To, which was WAY underrated in this little popularity contest. But all I can say is that I'm glad And Your Bird Can Sing didn't win despite all the guitar heads' campaigning on behalf of it . In case you couldn't infer, the winner was indeed ELENOR RIGBY.
