Rock Jam Of The Day: "Sweet Emotion" by Aerosmith

I love this rock jam. Every time I hear it, it reminds me of that crazy girl in the school girl uniform on "Saturday Night Live". lol

Anyone else feeling this song?

DavidEye	when I hear this song,it reminds me of the movie 'Dazed and Confused'.It's played near the beginning.

kisscamille	Sweet Emotion is a classic rock song. I love it! I've been a huge fan of Aerosmith since the late 70's. They are a great band. Some of their early work is amazing. They became a bit too predictable in the 90's, but I do like most of their music.

david, damn! I can't believe u said that shit. That's one of my faves right there. Have the movie on vhs and dvd! But yeah, grew up on "Sweet Emotion".

SPYZFAN1	"Sweet Emotion", "Last Child", and "Back In The Saddle" are some of the funkiest, rock tunes Aerosmith has written. I read Steven Tyler and Prince are big fans of one another.

Yeah they are. I remember reading that Steven used to jogg listening to the Black Album.

SPYZFAN1	Really!!?? (lol) Never knew that! Joe Perry said he saw Prince live at a aftershow in 86 and it was one of the best shows he'd ever seen of any live artist. He said Prince played the hell out of his guitar. The Aero guys have said nothing but cool things about Prince.

13inchshoe	Yep, Tyler & perry are both BIG prince fans.Joe Perry voted for him(on the first ballot) for the rock & roll hall of fame.And tyler has seen P a few times live.
