Its hard to think of any black artists now who are white pop. As white pop doesn't exist anymore.

Nah, that wasn't "sellout white pop." Billy was a good crossover act with huge mainstream appeal. I loved the Suddenly LP and I will not shortchange my man like that.

The recent picture I saw of Billy Ocean freaked me out. He looks like a scary George Clinton. But he did rock some cool pop tunes in 1985.

on the plus.....u got right said freds "i'm too sexy" Which was huge over here, but seemed bigger in USA.
