Tiffany's album inspired by Ben

Pop princess Tiffany has revealed that her new album, set to be launched this weekend, was inspired by meeting her Cannock husband.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Tiffany said she had dedicated her new album, Tiffany Dust Off And Dance, to husband Ben George who is a director at Cannock's Fireside Gallery.

The couple were due to fly back out to America today for the launch of her new album this weekend.

The album coincides with her entrance into NBC's talent revival show Hit Me Baby One More Time.

The programme will be shown at primetime on a Thursday evening and is set to be watched by more than 20 million viewers in the States. Last Saturday, Tiffany produced a dazzling display in the final of ITV1's Hit Me Baby One More time but lost out to 1980's rock n roller Shakin Stevens.

In the American show she will be up against rapper Vanilla ice, Irene Cara, The Romantics and The Motels amongst other singing sensations of the past.

Tiffany has revealed how meeting Ben inspired her to write the new album which will see a move back to her traditional pop dance tunes.

She said: "I found it easy in the past to write songs dominated by heartache. I thought I would go on as a solo businesswoman and was happy to do that.

"But I met the man of my dreams in Ben and my latest album is inspired by him.

"The songs are inspired about how I was feeling at the time which was complete happiness and one particular song is dedicated to him called I Love How You Feel."

And Tiffany says she is looking forward to taking part in the American version of the show which is set to start in two weeks.

"I had such an amazing time on the show over here meeting back up with Carol Decker who I had worked with when I was younger," she said.

"It was great fun and I am really looking forward to the American show."

She has also enjoyed success locally, thrilling crowds at Wolverhampton's Atlantis nightclub last year.

The Californian born singer married Ben in Los Angeles last year.

Tiffany, who has a 12-year-old son from a previous marriage, released her comeback album Color Of Silence in 2000.

I still dance to her upbeat digital snare fest "new inside" quite alot.

I'm confused. What is a Cannock? Is this a new husband (I thought she divorced that was featured on "Behind the Music")? Is this a dance album or is it like Native American music? Why in the hell do I care?
