Bad year for Vanill@s Maybe. I loved the name milli vanilli. Who the hell thought of that? (I guess frank farian who also had a unusual, universal name with boney M- he knows how to think of a good name.)

You bet. That guy was a genius. Ever heard German popular music where he emerged from? (schlagger, the worst kind of pop music ever). And yet he created a sound that had Europe dancing for the second half of the 70s.

He created the sound and even the group Boney M before having the singers. He was a studio freak doing everything and hiring vocalists when he needed to. When the first Boney M single was a big hit he quickly had to form the group. Only 2 of the girls actually sang and Farian made both male and female voices.

"brown girl in the ring". Is that PC now? And that chant was old anyway I like "brown girl in the ring". Yeah the production was great on those records. "painter man" was odd. I had no idea what a "painter man" was?

Can't admit that ur lover Madonna had one of the biggest fall off in Music History. Respect wise, I would say that Michael has had the biggest fall off in Music History. However, he still sells very well. 7 million for a greatest hit cd is impressive. People still copy his dance moves and view him as one of the greatest entertainers ever. Yep, Madonna fell off bad with American Life, but Janet fell off harder with the nipple gate...
About all that fell off for Janet was a bra. You'll see.
Yeah right Ah, but not commercially. Not commercially.
Right. Keep on thinking that. Janet's career is pretty much done. She's already offended millions of people by flashing her boob. Plus all her music is about is sex. She needs a miracle to get her career back to what it once was.

I'm sure David wishes his lover was Madonna, just as you wish Michael would tuck you in night after night. Anyways, it was just his opinion, stop pulling out unrelated cards against people, such as Madonna in this case. Maybe he doesn't feel she's had a fall-off, is that a crime?

What about Limp Bizkit? I heard their new CD only sold 37,000 units. Also some one else who might be falling off is Eric Benet. Has anyone heard ANYTHING on him since the divorce? His last CD was put out in 1999?

I don't care how many records he still sells,he is currently on trial for molesting an underage boy! That may not be a big deal to you,but as far as most people are concerned, that is tragic. We can deal with an album that doesn't sell well.Every longtime artist experiences this. That's not a big deal. But being accused of child molestation twice is not a good thing, and it's the nail in the coffin of any artist's career.Face the facts.Michael has fallen. ... I'm not exactly sure what the difference is to be honest, but by the law they are different. I do know that the woman in the Polanski case never wanted charges brought against him, even to this day.

From what I've heard, he could not re-enter the U.S. for fear of being arrested and his directing career in Hollywood was dead. He can only make films from abroad, which for a director of his stature is a major, tragic blow. This event severely affected his career and film output.

I'd have to disagree with Madonna and Janet; all they need is a hot new song, and they'll be right back at the top of the charts. Michael is a bit further gone; I'm not sure that a great song could put his career back on track.
My picks: Paula Abdul Michael Jackson B-52's (unfortunately) REM (sadly enough) I'm the first mammal to wear pants.
