Have ya'll heard Charlie Wilson's new single?

barf

I am so disappointed. It's obvious it's a R Kelly collabo and it's hot garbage. It'll be a hit for him. sad

The irony of charlie and r kelly. R kelly ripped off aaron hall vocally, and aaron ripped off charlie. But r kelly doesn't seem to be as apssionate singing wise as he was. Plus he ain't as much of a clone of aaron anymore.

Thanks.

The R.Kelly connection doesn't sound promising at all. Charlie Wilson deserves better.

And just to make it official...

Charlie also had solo attempts in the 1990s that were sell outs to the current sound. That's why I wish the older artists would just strictly tour with their group because I hate seeing them sell out to today's type of music.

What's worse vainandy, imagining having to go to the guy that stole your sound and asking that motherfucker to produce you.

What better way to introduce yourself to a new audience than "My name is Charlie last name Wilson". It's the perfect Charlie Wilson Jingle. The rest of the song will probably be forgotten but that line will live on. It's like Bond...James Bond.

I think it's good that there's an interest in him again. Perhaps there will be another "Yearning". not with RK...but with someone.

Yeah, I see your point. I absolutely love Charlie Wilson. Maybe the new audience will make themselves familiar with his whole body of work.
