now now...if somebody at the Bryan Adams website put up the dismal debut numbers for TRC or N.E.W.S., then you know some of you would be up in arms...lest not we forget our own lean Prince years... you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

Me too. Bad promotion though. Poor Bryan! You see I always think these debates are quite funny. So what he debuted at #134 this week, Honestly im surprised the album even debuted or was put out here at all. This CD is 3 years old, it came out in 2002 overseas and 2003 in some other countries. Now Im not crazy about Bryan Adams, but I have alot of his stuff, but I just think its really funny how we always focus on numbers and stuff like that. Maybe this is why the Industry sucks and all the artists coming out today are GONE tomorrow. Record companies look at things like UNITS and Numbers when they judge whos an artist, The New STEVIE WONDER cd is being held up by Universal because they are waiting for the CLimate to be right for it, they say they want him to have a strong opening week and debut. What a lame excuse. All this crap really started around 1990 this is when everything started becoming Bottom Line, once soundscan became the BIBLE thats when the Music and Honestly the Artists when down the drain. So I think when we see BRYAN ADAMS debut at 134 we should say, WOW he did that without a single, a label, a video, airplay, a scandal, shooting someone, or being dead. Not bad BRYAN, glad to see after 25 years your still here, wonder where Usher and 50 and good charolette will be in 25 years. I honestly don't like when anyone fails so even though I'm not a huge Bryan Adam's fan, this kind of sucks. And as lastdecember said, this album has been an import forever. I remember seeing it on sheleves a while ago which is why I was shocked it was never released in America.

i think Bryan is a pretty talented guy and has written some great songs, but i think he gave in too much to commercialism and then struggled a little too much to be "relevent" rather that just being himself. just my 2 cents

David"Pop"Eye never misses a hit. Along with... Run To You It's Only Love This Time ...all well done tunes. Yeah he doesn't have the latest haircut or have matinee idol looks or shriek angst-out my life sucks whiney drivel or babble about the bitches he macks on during the nightly hang up in the club's V.I.P. section nor dress like the trendy twit of the week. Just decent, take it or leave it, average-joe pop/rock tunes. Maybe that's why he wrote Please Forgive Me. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I cannot bear the guy's music, but for an album that has been around for years and is available on import (I presume) maybe 134 is pretty good going!
