Verve Remixes.....where the top DJ's remix Jazz legends. I admit, I'm not a huge jazz fan and I have to be in the right mood for it, but after hearing the remixed versions, it made curious to hear the some of the unmixed versions. Anyway, if you like trip-hop, then you'll probably like these....especially Vol. 1. I love how Nina Simone's vocals blend....her vocals seem to work best for these remixes.

Tricky's Strange Fruit and King Britt's Hare Krishna are probably the most interesting ones, imo.

Yup, heard of 'em. But have only heard the Tricky remix. Good stuff.

Heard See Line Woman by MAW and Who Needs Forever. Liked 'em both.

nice picks. "Black Is The color Of My True Love's Hair" by Nina Simone (Jaffa Remix) is another one y'all might like, but it's from Vol. two. Vol.2 has a remix of "Sinnerman" too. They seem to love Nina Simone on these albums....I don't blame them.
