As I've said, most of today's artists are more enterpreneurs than artists. Everybody drops a clothing line, shoes, perfumes and whatever else instead of working on a good CD. The music is just as generic as the products sold. Its all about convicing the public its good rather than it actually being undesputably good. Its all about the marketing. but "good" is relative. lots of people (many on this site, even) think gwen's solo record is great. lots of people also think no doubt is a good band. gwen and the band existed before the clothing line so while i agree with you in general, its not the case with gwen. | |
